Meet Jeff WarrickI have coached at Iowa State for the past 22 years, and I love it even more than when I first started! I enjoy coaching divers of all ages - from my college divers on down to the beginning diver. It's my mission to provide an excellent environment in which all divers can safely learn and continually make progress in the sport while developing a passion for diving that fuels them year after year.
I am fortunate to have learned from one of the best in the sport - Dr. Jeff Huber at Indiana University. I first worked with him at his camp at the University of Nebraska when I was 14 years old. I knew that I wanted to dive for him in college, and I later followed him to Indiana University where I dived from 1989 to 1994. I am grateful for the opportunity he gave me to dive at Indiana and to work at his camps. Being involved in the sport of diving as a diver and as a coach has taught me so much! It has taught me to have a great work ethic. It has challenged me and pushed me outside of my comfort zone. It has taught me how to set long-term goals and then craft a plan that will help me achieve them. And it has taught me how to work and cooperate with others to achieve common goals. I hope to pass on these things to you and to anyone involved with our Cyclone Diving Camps & Clinics. My wife Kathy and I live in Ames. |
